Amenity highlights: Facing 1 km (0.75 mi) of beach, each of the resort's two sides includes an immense lagoon-style swimming pool measuring more than 200 meters (219 yards) wide. Use of kayaks, windsurfers, Hobie Cat sailboats, and AquaTrikes is part of the All-Inclusive Plan, as is a championship-grade miniature golf course. Insider tip: As part of the All-Inclusive Plan, guests may use facilities, restaurants, and bars at eight companion resorts: Beach Palace, Sun Palace, and Cancun Palace in the Cancun hotel zone; three Palace Resorts on the Riviera Maya, Xpu-Ha Palace, Playacar Palace, and Aventura Spa Palace, about 50 miles south of Cancun; Cozumel Palace in Cozumel, and Isla Mujeres Palace in Isla Mujeres. Transportation is provided to the resorts in the Cancun Hotel Zone.

The resort offers 2,103 guestrooms in 16 three-story hacienda-style buildings divided between two sides (Sunrise, Nizuc and golf suites by the golf course) that include nearly identical facilities and amenities. Rooms feature balconies or enclosed ground-floor terraces furnished with chairs and hammocks that provide views of gardens or the Caribbean Sea. Bathrooms contain two-person walk-in showers and two-person jetted tubs. Liquor dispensers hold rum, brandy, Scotch, and tequila. Minibars contain bottled water, beer, and soft drinks.
Decor features dark wood furniture, including marbletop table and dresser; tan-marble floors with brown-marble accents; and white walls and ceilings.
